1st January 2018

A very special time for Wendy and I last night, we are both proud to officially announce our engagement as of 11.59pm, where we rang in the new year at the top of Cambewarra lookout together.
We hope everyone had as good a New Year's Eve us, and we wish both our families, friends and clients wonderful 2018 year.

29th October 2017

On the weekend we attended the Shoalhaven Dressage Club Championships.

Ampersand 'Jack' owned by Tibby Barbour had his first start at Elementary placing 2nd in with tests with 67.91 in the 3.2 and 65.62 in the 3.3. He was awarded Reserve Champion Elementary.

22nd October 2017

Nationals done and dusted for another year!

Super Kip, Australian National Reserve Champion in the Open Elementary, with a 1st and a 4th in his classes.

We also competed in the Medium classes where we ran a very respectable 6th and 7th against a hugely strong field.

We are very pleased with Kip as this was only his 4th and 5th start in the Medium level, so to place in this field is outstanding against many horses that are already established in advanced, we so proud of this horse and feel lucky to own him!

14th October 2017

We welcome to the team or brand new gooseneck from Gladiator Floats!

Wendy and I love it and we would like to thank Gladiator Floats for their great service and in pushing it through for us to have it ready to take to Australian Dressage Nationals next week at Boneo, VIC.

We would also like to thank Peter Mathews for all his work getting the car right to tow it.

Here are some lovely photos of a few of the young horses that we have in for breaking and training for various owners at Jim Collin Equine Training Services, some of which will be coming up for sale soon.

We will be taking on the next round of young horses on the weekend of the 13/14th May 2017 to which there are limited places still available, so if anyone would like their horses professionally broken or to have their horses education furthered, please call 0417 235 343 to discuss your needs.

29th April 2017

A big thank you to all the organisers and volunteers that made the Sydney CDI 2017 a fantastic event and a special thanks must be made to CSG for sponsoring the Young Horse 6yo classes.

Wendy and I had a great time campaigning Neversfelde Kiping a 6yo Furst Love x Neversfelde Kudu gelding. Thursday we placed 9th with 72.6 in round 1 of the CSG Young Horse 6yo class which put us through to the 2nd round where we scored 7.7 putting us in 6th place overall against the best 6 yr olds in the country, so very proud of his efforts!

The highlight of the CDI was Saturday night taking part in a Disco themed Pax De Deux with Alycia Targa and her 6yo gelding Neversfelde Kenya, a half brother to our Kip ' KUDU KIDS CLUB' both horses took the environment in their stride putting on a show for the crowd!

A big thank you to the very talented Julee Jones for making our Disco outfits!

You can watch the Pax De Deux video HERE

Next stop is preparing for my upcoming clinic taking place at Annandale (Hunter Valley) on the 20th and 21st May and we look forward to preparing Kip for the NSW State Championships later on in the year.

5th March 2017

Super effort from Neversfelde Kipling at the Canberra Classic over the weekend, winning both the 6 yr old young horse test, going on to win the Championship and then backing it up by taking out the Open Elementary Championship with all his scores well over 70% against some tough competition and despite some rider errors, (oops lol)

We would like to thank the committee and volunteers of the ACTDA for another well run event and to the class sponsors "Rubicon Stud" (6yr olds) and "Charmans Earthmoving" (open elementary championship) for their support of the classes.

Next weekend we are off to Albury for the next clinic and I am looking forward to seeing everyone there, please contact Ella Fletcher if you are interested in attending.

10th February 2017

Thank you to Sydney Dressage Club for holding their mini competition yesterday at SIEC, with many competitions being canceled due to the hot weather it was a great chance to get some qualifying scores in the 6 year old test for our Furst Love x Neversfelde Kudu gelding 'Neversfelde Kipling’ who scored 7.74 and Tibby Barbour's gelding 'Ampersand' who scored 7.28

My last clinic for the year was held at Sutton over the weekend of 19-20th November which was a huge success with 27 lessons. A huge thank you to Kathy Dennis for organising this clinic and thank you to everyone that attended, hope to see you all out there in the new year.

6th October 2016

Time for an update!

It has been a busy few months with lots of clinics, horses coming for training, new members to the team, awards nights and most recently I am now an accredited NCAS level 2 coach!

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Di Stanley and Kathy Dennis for organising my clinics across NSW. The response has been overwhelming with all clinics booked out! We are looking into expanding my clinics nationally.

I would like to introduce Milly Clarke who has been part of my team for a few months now as head groom/stable manager. Milly is a keen showjumper and at only 22 has come up through the junior/young rider ranks and is now jumping in open classes! Milly was a member of the National Young Rider Elite squad for 2013/2014 and currently on the 2016 NSW Senior Showjumping squad!
Milly has been a godsend - extremely reliable, keeps all clients' horses immaculately prepared and we've found out Milly has a talent for plaiting Friesian manes!

I have settled into my new property and just loving it! We have finished expanding the facilities, adding more paddocks and are now in a position to offer short and long term agistment. I have some great young horses in for training of all breeds, one in particular - a flashy imported young Friesian! Currently I have a few spots available for clients wanting to send their horse for training or breaking.

Looking forward to Nationals in 2 weeks where I'll be campaigning Kip in the Novice and helping long term client Para Equestrian Vic Davies with her young stallion Sam who will be making his para debut!

12th September 2016

"NSW State Dressage Championships 2016"

NEVERSFELDE KIPLING (Furst Love x Neversfelde Kudu) owned by myself and Tempe Lees placed 3rd in the Zilco International Novice 2.2 with 71.50% followed by 4th in the Stable 8 Novice 2.3 with 69.74%. Great effort from Kip against some strong combinations.

AMPERSAND (Ampere x Babine) owned by Tibby Barbour tried his heart out, maybe a bit too much which brought our score down in the Preliminary 1.3 but we redeemed ourselves for the Stable 8 Preliminary 1.2 with a 67.02%; first major competition for 'Jack' who took it all in his stride.

A big thank you to the organising committee and volunteers for running yet another friendly well run event and a big thank you to all sponsors that supported this event.

Next stop - Nationals in October!

22nd August 2016

Wording from Equestrian NSW - Last Friday night, it was my pleasure to attend the Sport NSW Awards at Parliament House. Jim Collin, our EA High Performance Coach of the Year was a finalist in the Coach of the Year category. Jim's proud parents, Grant and Margaret were there in support.

The coach award went to the Drummoyne Rowing Club coach, who had all but four of his 95 rowers win a medal at their NSW Club Championships. In any case, Jim was a worthy finalist and it was great to see equestrian recognised up there with mainstream sports.
